thinking about Tatiana makes me so ill she's so tragic and strong and she was never fucking mentioned again after emerald secret.

she was an organic wolf and she got FORCED into an uncomfortable, foreign human form by Micheal + ein for literally no reason (they NEVER use or bring up these body-changing forever potions again) and is stuck that way forever. She was forced to follow ein in order to protect her pack. But at the end of the day, she gets her revenge. She's the one who kills ein. And tHEN SHES FUCKING GONE NOT EVEN A MENTION NOT EVEN BY AARON AS IF HE DIDNT BEG HER FOR INFO AFYAFSOXUXO

i think the reason mystreet s4 feels so off despite having fairly good ideas is bc of aphmau’s status as the “main character”

specifically, the need to keep our attention on aph at the cost of good competent storytelling. most of the major flaws in storyline execution tend to boil down to “lets insert aph here bc she’s the main character”

like, ein’s yandere aphmau photo wall. claiming that ein’s motive is an obsession with aph directly contradicts his werewolf supremacist ideology, and doesn’t make sense considering ein only wanted to get with aph bc she was the alpha of the highschool not bc of feelings. this crush just exists to insert aph into ein’s beef with aaron.

or that one scene where aph gets weird and jealous about tatiana trying to save aaron’s life. it’s just giving aph more screentime since she didn’t really have that much up to this point.

also, aph’s feelings/trauma are prioritized to the detriment of other character’s arcs. particuarly, the ro’bros, since their arc centers around zane’s trauma which is almost entirely unrelated to aph.

zane goes through the ringer this season (kidnapped, sexually harassed/assaulted, called a liar by his closest friend/family about said SA/H, all of which while under a brainwashing spell that got super close to permanently removing his free will), but is never actually permitted to actually address any of it since lucinda already used up all the non-aph venting minutes. his garroth callout is vague and entirely unrelated to the events of the season because god forbid anyone but aph have lodge trauma. after his forever potion is broken, he is only permitted to be traumatized over shit that happened to aph and “how awful it was to see her hurt and be unable to do anything about it” (apparently aph yelling at him about the ghost thing didn’t affect him at all). even after s4 ended he literally doesn’t mention anything about the lodge but aph’s trauma.

likewise, garroth’s arc is primarily about realizing how inconsiderate he’s been about zane and learning to be more attentive to his feelings. however, this is difficult seeing as he also has aph prioritization issues. it’s hard to believe garroth is really trying to make amends when he doesn’t bother to apologize to zane about the ghost thing even after realizing he was in the wrong, or, despite knowing how awful being under the forever potion is from lucinda, doesn’t hesitate to sacrifice zane’s free will in favor of aarmau and is forced against his will to try and stop his actual brother from being enslaved forever. thus his arc falls flat and sucks

I honestly really liked Ein's character; he's probably one of my favourites. Obviously he's unwell (mentally and emotionally) and has a terrible personality, but that's how I like my characters lmfao

In PDH, Ein is a hugeee dick! From what I remember he treated Aphmau like an object for affection , validation and entitlement. He abused his position as "co-alpha" with Aphmau, and on-top of that, used her too. (Side-note: wolf packs don't have "alphas", "betas", or "omegas", that theory was disproven. Sorry to all of you Omega-verse enjoyers.) He obviously is a bully in PDH.

He's also like that in Emerald Secret but way more crazier and abusive, causing a lot of hurt mentally, emotionally and physically (maybe even spiritually??) for himself and for the other characters.

But what if he was under control in Emerald Secret? Of course, there is no way to prove this (other than when Aaron was having a PTSD episode in Starlight) but he did meet Michael, the Demon Warlock, before the events of Ein taking over Tatiana's wolfpack. Michael does have those sweet-sweet mind-controlling potions.

What if Michael used a potion on Ein and Ein's eyes changed back to silver, making him permanently under Michael's control?

Or maybe Ein's just a weird, psychopathic asshole, who can't get over the fact he was bested by the better version of him (Blaze) and got kicked by a human (Katelyn) in high school, who knows! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Zane’s canon outfit is pretty solid. So I kept it.

Aphmau dresses rather inappropriately for cold weather because she went planning on staying inside the whole time.

Tatiana doesn’t have clothes. She wears a weird scarf thing she found and that’s it. And that’s only because she’s cold without her fur. Because she’s a Wolf turned human she’s not gonna have clothes from bloody primark. She also has scars on her legs because why not.

Today has been a rollercoaster. Here are my thoughts about the newest episode of MyStreet (warning, this gets long):

I LOVED IT. THINGS ARE WRAPPED UP NICELY. I CAN’T WAIT. I’m really hoping there’s another season? I’m fine if I have to wait a year. If Jess and Jason choose not to continue MyStreet, I’ll be upset, but I’ll respect their choice. I’m just hoping that everything turns out well.

EDIT: THANK YOU JASON. For those of you who don't know, I follow Jason and Jess on twitter. He just tweeted that there will be a five episode miniseries breaking up season 4 and 5, which will mark the year Aph has to wait. It starts next Wednesday.

Overall, the story was well written and beautifully done. Like I said before. You know it’s a good story when it pulls at your heart and makes you feel emotions.

Where did Garroth go after stabbing Kawaii-chan — why did he stop trying to kill Zane?

Lucinda and Kim put on grunt uniforms and were immediately allowed to see Michael (so all the guardian forces agents have that access?!)

And the question I’ve been asking since Ein first returned...

How is he alive?

Hear me out, when Aaron didn’t kill Ein he was left, likely bleeding out, in the woods, and though they never found a body and assumed he was ‘eaten by wolves’, we saw Tatiana sick her wolves on him, and talk to Lucinda afterwards. Why would she let him escape? Also you’d think after Ein got his shit wrecked by Aaron, and was fucking mauled by wolves he would have died from the pain, blood loss, or many, many inflicted injuries, regardless of whether he was human or werewolf at the time. Being ‘found by Michael’ doesn’t explain shit!
